A couple of days ago I met another African descendant here… She’s from France and lives in the same building.

This is her first time in Estonia, she’s here since last autumn, and the experience has been pretty much like my first ones… let’s say, annoying.

Yeah, the first impression is what sticks.

I met other people, at these two other occasions, and some said that they would probably never come back – and they were not part of any minority group.

Lucky me, I have the chance to see how this country is changing fast. She cannot see that, the other ones cannot see that… and they won’t come back to check. The first impression wasn’t so good, and that’s what they brought as their luggage.

You could marry any guy and be sure that your mom married someone exactly like him, and then they would need signs, saying who belongs to who, so that you would never have the misfortune of catching your husband doing la-la-la with your mom… Can you imagine?

Nice world, huh?

So, let’s celebrate the differences!
